Master Zhang Aijun
Originally from Henan in China, Master Zhang was introduced to the martial arts at an early age. He followed the teachings of several masters from the Shaolin and Wudang schools. He worked with each of them in a very traditional way.
Unlike modern teaching as we know it today, his apprenticeship was based on a privileged relationship with a Master who was part of a family lineage. He deepened his training with Master Wang Qing Sheng (Zhaobao style Taiji Quan) and Master Wang Xian (Chen style Taiji Quan).
He holds numerous diplomas and titles from his native land, and has been a champion in various Wushu and Tuishou disciplines.
Master Zhang began teaching as an official instructor to young residents of the famous Taoist monastery in the Wudang Mountains. His apprenticeship illustrated his attachment to the traditional forms of Taiji Quan.
Building on this experience, Master Zhang then embarked on a new adventure that took him to Paris. Here, he has trained numerous students, notably in traditional Zhaobao Taiji Quan, of which he is the only heir master in France. He also teaches batons, swords and Little Monk Boxing. As a coach, he led a French team to the first international Wushu competitions in Zhengzhou (Henan, China) in 2004, which came first and won several medals.
MaƮtre Zhang's aim is to spread this philosophy of life and discipline to as many people as possible, and he is regularly invited by associations throughout France, Corsica and Reunion Island.
