------> When I started Tai-Chi over 10 years ago, I didn't realize how much it would change my life: it's much more than a sport, it's an art of living that Christian teaches us.
Practising Tai-chi brings me physical and mental benefits on a daily basis, and I can't thank Christian enough for introducing me to it and sharing his knowledge of the wisdom of ancient texts.

------> 5 months ago I started practising Qi-gong and Taïchi Chuan.
In remission from a serious illness, I had resolved to consider pain and malaise as the evidence of my 74 years. From the very first sessions, in the midst of a friendly, stimulating and encouraging group, Christian's knowledge and kindness led me to reconsider.
Without knowing anything about Martial Arts, I have the feeling that these practices occupy the mind beyond the teaching sessions. I have proof of this in my daily actions. Breathing, to which I paid no attention.
Painful movements, which I had resolved to stop doing. The lack of tone in the limbs, particularly the thighs and legs that carry us. Getting out of bed without the "lumbars" ringing a bell.
I've found or rediscovered what I'd call "a willingness to gesture and move" without apprehension. Finally; my sleep apnea syndrome whose AHI (for those in the know) went from 10 to 4 in just a few weeks. I'm not dreaming, it happened.
Today, I'm wondering whether I should cancel my appointment with a neurology department. I have fewer symptoms of the peripheral nervous system, which has definitely been damaged by chemotherapy and radiation.
If I owe all this to the practice of Qi-gong and Taichi, then... Many, many thanks to Christian and also to the "fellow" Saturday morning practitioners.

------> There's a before and an after to Covid 19.
There is - and even more so - a before and an after Christian Rasotto...
Martial arts, Taichi and yoga have been part of his life for a very long time; it's his Art de Vivre. I'm delighted to have known him for so many years, and to have been able to hold on to these practices over the years, which are so essential to life, to my life.
The passing years - especially the last two - have plunged us into deep solitude and sometimes malaise: meditation and altered states of consciousness are paths of reflection that have become vital for balance.
Reading the texts of the great Masters, and the analysis and explanations provided by Christian, help us to move forward and progress in our daily lives. A huge thank you to you Christian for your kindness and your sharing.

------> "In 5 years of regular practice, I can see that I've grown. Yes, literally and figuratively. In fact, I find it easier to grab objects placed high up, which is impressive.
I get carried away less, or if I don't, I find it easier to calm down because I'm aware of it. Christian teaches us this during the sessions.
Each time, the 1h30 spent with the group is a moment of fulfillment, from beginning to end with relaxation. Without exaggerating too much, I'm as supple as I was at 20! (I'm now 58). I'll always practise yoga. It's never too late to start."

------> The opinion of a regular practitioner
If you want to keep your spirits up, enjoy life, reduce or even eliminate joint pain, and live longer in good health, there's nothing better than the regular practice of yoga, taichi chuan and qigong.
If, like me, you've been practising for many years, then the spiritual aspect comes to the fore and takes its place in the meditation you can do following relaxation and learning to let go.

------> I started yoga in 2014 with you. Already 7 years of reflection around a practice that has changed my life ... and that's thanks to you and your way of teaching....
Everyone can take what they want from your classes.
From a physical point of view, your classes bring into the yoga tradition the contributions we need to maintain our bodies.
From a mental point of view, you offer us a beautiful toolbox where everyone can find a key to achieve inner peace and a beautiful spacious state.
Thanks to your teaching, we can achieve the magnificent balance of body and mind that is the ultimate goal of yoga , thank you

------>I'd like to give you an overview of the fitness gains I've made since taking up yoga.
a quantifiable observation: before, at the pool, I used to do 40 lunges, the last 10 of which were difficult; since I've been doing yoga, I've always done 40 lunges, but more easily; I've even had the luxury of doing 50 at a session when I was at my best_
in my running practice, I'm less tired afterwards, I breathe better.
i'm calmer - people who know me well have told me so.
in my everyday activities, I've gained in precision and speed of execution.
i've just done some heavy gardening at my parents' house, and not one muscle ache.
i can't wait to go to the mountains this summer,
long live yoga and thank you for what it brings me and will bring me.

------>"touched by illness, I'm going through an extremely difficult ordeal, both physically and psychologically, but THURSDAY MORNING is reconciliation with my aching body and my tormented mind, I owe Christian these moments of well-being, Tai Chi restores suppleness, lightness and life to my body and brings great serenity to my mind, relaxation is of great benefit, a feeling of "detox"...
For my part, I'd say that Tai Chi's gentle, slow and majestic movements make you aware of every muscle, every joint, just as if you were opening a beautiful watch to admire its astonishing and fascinating mechanism.
i leave each class with a light heart and body, full of life and energy.... and full of strength and courage
add to all this orchestrated by an extraordinary teacher, a man with a beautiful soul, Christian, who encourages you with a look, motivates you with a smile, gives me energy with a word.... and for the man who is with each and every one of us, I say Thank you".

------>I've been attending yoga classes for the past year with great joy. Getting to know your body through movement, becoming aware of what's essential: breathing. Your kindness and all the words of wisdom that accompany the practice help me to find the path to inner peace and serenity. This year I took up taichi with the same pleasure. Classes in these two disciplines are a real moment of shared happiness.
Thank you and happy holidays to you and your loved ones.
Om Shanti

------>" I've been practicing yoga with Christian for at least 5 years now. I never miss one of his classes. Even when I'm tired after a day's work, it's a time I enjoy. It's a place where you feel good, without prejudice.
I've become more flexible, which I wasn't before. The muscle strengthening enables me to ride a bike without my legs hurting. And the practice of breathing and meditation allows me to relax in certain moments of my life (on public transport, sometimes at work), and to take a step back from certain situations.
Christian is not only a teacher, but also a caring and attentive listener.
I invite anyone who is still hesitating to come to his classes".
Murielle
------>"Practising yoga regularly for 3 years now has had many positive effects on me. First of all, there are the immediate effects of the session, i.e. relaxation, particularly muscular relaxation. Indeed, I often arrive with aches and tensions that have completely disappeared by the end of the class. What's more, the texts read by Christian are tools for reflection. In short, I leave feeling lighter in body and mind.
But it's in the long term that I realize the benefits of yoga. I'm more serene, less irritable. People around me have even remarked on it. Over time, I've noticed that my brain doesn't bubble as much. At times, I even find myself not thinking about anything at all. It's a very soothing experience.
Missing a class is out of the question; it's become a real addiction. And if, despite everything, I miss a class, I organize myself a catch-up session thanks to the videos generously put online by Christian.
Christian shares his passion with us and, through his classes and our discussions, helps us to find the path of benevolence..."
Virginie.
------>I also have a message about the benefits of practice, which is only half unexpected... I spent a week doing mile-by-mile data entry to initialize a new tool for the XXXXXXXX group, covering over 200 stores with a huge amount of data.
I've been blown away not only by my ability to concentrate, what's more I'm right next to the coffee machine, but also by the gesture, yes the gesture, soft shoulders relaxed, supple and round (handling the keyboard keys, letters, numbers and function F...) in an always identical order without noise....-doesn't that remind you of anything?
Well, I can boast that I'm the only one to have done this for all the stores in ....3 days...
For those of you with typing difficulties, keyboard TaiChi is possible!
Claude
------>Thank you Christian for this message, for the previous one (the energy cut, interesting when you lose your hair like leaves in autumn), for the and all the previous messages which always bring a little extra and light to our everyday lives.
Each time it's like a warm stone in the winter, like a step towards the best that adds to the previous one, and finally, little by little, it makes its way. Personally, I love receiving your little messages, your little addresses, it's really nice. And that's in addition to our Qi Qong, Tai Chi and yoga practices. ............ THANK YOU.
A very happy and warm Christmas to you.
All the best.

------>" Living the present moment
Thank you, Christian,
For your attention, your generosity, your patience.
You take it to heart to help us progress, to bring us "Energy - Enthusiasm - Control - Concentration - Smile".
The art of opening the way and guiding us step by step along the path to well-being.
In just a few sessions, these disciplines have become a way of life.
Every week, I look forward to my classes and leave them full of energy and a breath of life!
Om Shanti

------> I've been visiting your site since I started going to your tai chi classes.
I must admit that this site is a mine of information. I've learned a lot about Buddhism, which has been my basic religion since childhood, but once I arrived in France, I was somewhat confused by various misinterpretations of my religion.
I hope to find some real information on the Institut d'études boudhiques website about Buddhism, and I've just ordered Philippe Cornu's book.

------>"True values in a polluted world"
Tai Chi, Qi Gong and Yoga:
beyond the benefits of a practice that I would describe as: excellent for the body, the mind and the emotional state, (and I weigh each of these words on the scales of my experience :-) )
it's a way of life (in the broadest sense of the word), a way of living that settles in over the months and then the years, (providing many elements for building an existence in harmony with oneself, with others and with the world).
Christian's courses:
You learn, discover, progress, advance in your practice (each at your own pace) and... you make friends! :-)
In short: you feel good! Many thanks to Christian for his warm welcome and teaching.
Yvonne
------>This is the 2nd year I've been practicing this discipline with Christian.
I feel the benefits of taichi for me, as I've had osteoarthritis problems for a long time. When I go home on Saturdays, I feel revived. The yoga part also brings me a certain serenity.
J Jacques
I feel a real benefit, much less tension and a real desire to attend your classes.
Bonne journée

------>My husband and I have been practising taichi for 4 years now, and it's done us a lot of good.
All the techniques taught help us to get our vital energy flowing and bring us back to the "here and now".
After each Taichi-Qigong session, we feel soothed away from the hustle and bustle of Parisian life, especially during meditation when we let go completely until we feel like sleeping.
And as for YOGA, after each session it allows me to let go of work-related tensions and decompress
It has to be said that Christian chooses texts that enable us to rediscover inner peace.
To be enjoyed without moderation...
Bettoune and Marc.
------>First of all, I'd like to say a few words about the teacher: very human, attentive to each student's needs, friendly and smiling.
As for my own practice, there's been a big improvement in movement coordination, flexibility has improved and, as the months go by, so has concentration.
Finally, everything is good in our practice and above all, the atmosphere is very good
I.S.
------>Yoga remains a means of controlling the mind. Without mind control, it remains difficult to practice. Added to this is breath control. Arriving at the class is sometimes complicated, depending on the stress of the day or the moment, but the serenity of the class enables you to quickly integrate a state of returning to yourself. Finally, relaxation and Christian's choice of readings can help you leave the course with a new spiritual insight to meditate on ;-) while waiting for the next class.

------>QIGONG and TAICHI simply taught me that I didn't know much about looking after my body and even less about looking after my mind, and simply gave me the desire to learn and keep learning.
This work on oneself enables us to respond appropriately to others, whether in gesture or thought. This applies to everyday life, and in particular to professional life.
CT
------>I hope you remember me
This message is to give you some news about my end-of-year exam, two pieces of news to be exact.
I passed my final exam and am now a qualified masseur-physiotherapist.
As for the second piece of news, it's to inform you that the final dissertation you supervised on TAI CHI CHUAN in geriatric rehabilitation has been awarded the 2011 FFMKR/La médicale de France prize for the quality and progress of the treatment
and progress of the treatment.
The prize will be awarded to me at the Salon Mondial de la Réducation on October 15, 2011 at the Parc Floral in Paris;
I would like to thank you once again for your participation and wish you all the best for the future.
Sincerely Charlie Chavagnac
It's been 2 years since I've been doing yoga following a major depression and I've been able to regain a calm mind, I've also regained the flexibility I had a few years ago and I'm especially looking for calm and a moment just for me. H.N
Thanks to you and your passion! C.T
After a Tai Chi session I have a feeling of lightness, I'm very relaxed and calm.
Concentration makes me let go, I feel calmer. My sleep is better.
Thanks to simple exercises, I've gained in flexibility.
The classes are very straightforward, with no judgement towards those who don't know or understand.
There's mutual help between the old and the new, and I always feel a sense of benevolence.
Christian, our teacher, has created a great atmosphere within the group, and there's also the beauty of the gesture - Tai Chi is so elegant!
Pascale.
------>Detachment from stress, like a raincoat that stops you getting wet in the rain.
very clear development of concentration and memory.
Breathing is more fluid, so all organs are calmer and function better,
relaxation is the best remedy against pain....arthrosis, for example....

------>First of all, congratulations on your site, which is very good, user-friendly and pleasant to visit.
For my part, I can't give my opinion on the various disciplines, as I don't practise regularly.
For "TAI-CHI and QIGONG" I really appreciate the efficiency of your classes and the good general atmosphere.
JEAN R.
------>I've been practicing Tai Chi regularly for three years now.
I'll always remember my first session and the benefits I derived from it: extraordinary serenity and calm until 8:00 pm.
Each class brings me relaxation, calm and well-being for a whole week... As my practice has progressed, I've been able to acquire serenity on a daily basis, and manage my emotions better. I've met some wonderful people whose philosophy of life is very similar to my own.
A big thank you to Christian who gives selflessly, it's a pleasure to take part in your classes.
MAL
------>it's become essential for me to practice taichi, sharing these moments with the group and being in communion enriches me internally. H.E
Christian's QIGONG-TAICHI classes perfectly meet my expectations, both in terms of the atmosphere and the benefits I feel throughout the sessions. These include improved concentration, balance and flexibility. And of course, not forgetting the general well-being at the end of each class. After 2 years of practice, I'm delighted to have found a "cocktail" (qigong/taïchi/relaxation) that suits me, and I hope to be able to continue with this teacher for a long time to come.
Marie-Jeanne
------>I salute you Christian, for your work and infinite involvement...
Best regards, C.D
------>The end of stress, the beginning of happiness.
All my life, I've had the feeling of being tossed about by life, caught up in events over which I had no influence. Extremely hot-tempered, I fought with all my might, destructively, against life itself, complaining about the unfair obstacles that stood in my way, making others bear the brunt of my own choices!
So, when I met Mr. Christian RASOTTO, I imagined myself taking up a good, enriching and relaxing activity, so that when I returned to the world, I'd be better able to defend myself against adversity.
I was sadly mistaken: what Yoga-Taichi 91 offered me went far beyond that:
An art that is both physical and spiritual, developing the body as well as the mind. Allowing you to master your body and your gestures, as well as freeing you from anger, frustration and all the emanations of the ego, perfect illusions replacing true reality!
Before, not a week went by without me getting furiously angry. That hasn't happened to me for several months now.
Before, not a month went by without aches and pains in my body, or objects broken by clumsiness. But not anymore.
I don't know exactly where this path leads, but I do know one thing: since I've been practising Tai Chi Chuan as taught by Christian, I'm better than yesterday and worse than tomorrow.
Thank you, Christian!
Arnaud B.
------>I started yoga in 2012 (my first experience). This art is good for me: I gain in flexibility, I learn stress management, I center myself internally all this in a group and with a good teacher!
M.E
------>I discovered and started practicing "TAI-CHI and QIGONG\" in September 2011 with Christian, a wonderful person who doesn't count his time, who spreads positive energy and with whom it's very pleasant to learn these arts.
Since I've been practicing these disciplines, I've noticed a sense of well-being and calm after each class, and it really helps to recharge one's batteries at the end of the week.
I intend to continue along this path, with Christian's guidance, to achieve serenity in my daily life!
Best regards,
Maryline
------>I've been practising yoga for a year (only!) with the evening group and I've already made so much progress. Physically, the practice has enabled me to correct my posture and consequently alleviate a large part of my back pain problems.
I've noticed that I'm more aware of my breathing and my body, which makes it easier for me (which I didn't have at all before) to relax, especially when carrying out simple everyday gestures or at work, thus reducing areas of tension.
At every session, I appreciate the rigour of the teaching and the absence of judgement, which motivates me and makes me want to try and do better every time. In addition to his technical skills, Christian is approachable, available, attentive to his students and passionate about what he does. I encourage anyone interested to join one of the groups coordinated by Christian, without hesitation.
AB
------>Learning Tai Chi through Christian's teaching has made me discover a point that is important today in my daily life:
Between the moment we decide to start a movement and the moment we finish it, there's so much going on in our minds that we've forgotten the real reason we decided to start it in the first place. For me, this is the strength of this martial art: a clear and calm mind in movement.
Pierre LG
------>Concentration, flexibility, balance, culture, in a serious and very pleasant atmosphere. After a few tries in the area, I found here what I was looking for...you have to try it, it's simple!
B.V
------>I started yoga last year in search of a general feeling of well-being, and I've noticed that my rather stiff body is a little more supple today, and I'm better able to manage my stress and emotions through breathing exercises that I now practice every day.
I'd recommend it to anyone seeking greater harmony between body and mind.
These are sessions I try to attend regularly, as learning to listen to oneself requires patience and perseverance,
I'd like to thank Christian for his kindness and good humour, as well as for the quality of his teaching
What a pleasure it was yesterday to practice again with the group and to benefit from your advice too. B.D
I have a lot of personal worries (both emotional and material). I try not to resort to medication to overcome all the causes of stress that beset me, and the yoga I've been practicing since September helps a lot. In particular, I use the relaxation exercises we do at the end of each session when I wake up at night, and they work pretty well.
S.L.
------>Through taichi, we learn gentleness (to be gentler with ourselves and our environment, calmer), precision and mastery of movement, which gradually helps us to channel our energies.
Practice really does help us to see more clearly, to recognize what's good for us, to become vigilant, and gradually to stop letting ourselves be overwhelmed by stress and suffering.
This technique opens up a path to self-knowledge, which is inevitable if we are to understand how we function, and detach ourselves from that which hinders us.
It's a very healthy tool, which not only strengthens the muscles, particularly the thighs, but also boosts self-confidence, concentration and alertness, thanks to the discipline and mastery of the gesture.
It's a moment for us, where we listen to each other, and release the knots.
I have fewer and fewer neck problems and trapezius knots due to stress, and these problems don't last as long, and taichi is a real benefactor.
I realized that when I wasn't practising (especially during the vacations), my vigilance would drop, because I'd be overwhelmed by the slightest obstacle. Regularity, as with everything, is the key to lasting and numerous results.
What's more, Christian is an exceptional teacher who knows how to get involved, and how to know when he can intervene and when his advice will be welcomed.
He's a very empathetic person who knows how to listen to those who want to know more.
His classes combine a QI Gong warm-up with a gentle relaxation or meditation. The benefits can be felt right from the end of the 1st session. Relaxation often begins with a reading of selected texts that challenge our way of seeing, apprehending and experiencing things, encouraging introspection and refocusing, and inviting us to think differently.
You feel lighter, inclined to move forward, and your mind clears.
Taichi helps you to think positively, release strong emotions and see things in a different light.
I'm very happy to have crossed paths with Christian, who is an extraordinary, kind and generous person.
Seeing and hearing him is already soothing!
K.A
------>I began taking yoga classes over 4 years ago, adding taichi, qigong and meditation.
I used to be a very stressed person, taking everything at face value, living only with the past or the future with all its uncertainties, but I gradually let go and felt a great sense of well-being. It's true that managing one's emotions and tensions isn't easy every day, but with practice it's quite possible to achieve a totally different life.
Concentration gives you a different view of yourself, and leads to a mind that is less and less tormented. Thank you Christian for your support over the years and in the years to come.
G.B
------>I'm more QI gong than Tai chi
When I practice one and drop the other, I miss it.
Why Qi Gong, because I can practice at home, which I do regularly, and because my memory doesn't allow me to retain the Tai Chi sequences. But I like the atmosphere of the classes and the fact that I can't do it doesn't make me angry any more, I know it's gradually sinking in.
I've only been practising for 5 years. Physically, my knees are happy, they don't grumble on the stairs any more. My back still hurts, but I'm not giving up hope of making it happy.
My neck is in heaven.
But it's morally and in everyday life that I appreciate QI gong, Tai chi and meditation the most.
Living in the present, being aware of what you're doing, refusing to make up stories, living in a parallel world, what if I'd done that instead of this, etc. My mind is freer.
My mind is freer, I don't come back to the door to see if I've locked it, I know where I keep my keys, even if sometimes I still lose my car in the parking lot.
I still can't remember the names of people I meet or even friends, but I feel I've improved my memory.
Best regards
Mamianne
------>The regular practice of taichi is like a gentle cleansing of the body. You rediscover yourself and cultivate inner calm.
The practice is rich: Qigong, yoga, taichi exercises... there's always something to discover and deepen even after several years of practice, the martial aspect, stick work, sword work...
Thank you Christian for all these moments of sharing spent in good spirits and in a genuine search for inner peace.
Philippe.
------>I discovered Taichi Qi Gong 1 year ago, at the age of 66, with Christian Rasotto.
Right from the 1st class, I loved this art which combines a thorough warm-up of every part of the body with the practice of Taichi, a sequence of very elegant and precise movements. Regular training brings considerable physical well-being (flexibility, balance, better body control) and psychological well-being (concentration and memory, calm and serenity).
Our teacher Christian, who I find pedagogic, available and passionate, contributes to creating an excellent atmosphere within the class. My only regret is not to have known about and started this course earlier.
Thank you, Christian.
Myriam
------>I'm really looking forward to the class, to do ouf! Take a mental and physical break, breathe, relax, especially your shoulders.
What can I say about the teacher? In fact, he cooks for us like a chef, taking care of every detail
what can I say about the atmosphere? very good, created by the teacher, who is not only superbly kind, but also competent and supportive of all his students
what can I say about a year's experience? your joints are gradually becoming more supple, and you can put things into perspective
friendly
Josiane
------>The classes are very interesting both in terms of well-being and martial arts.
The form of taiji that Christian teaches us is very harmonious and I also find the application part at the end of the classes interesting, as it helps us to better understand the form being practised.
Christian is a great teacher, patient and open-minded. He makes you feel good during and after class.
I really recommend this club!
Vincent C.
------>For the past three years, I've found that after each session I come out more "ZEN" and I sleep better!
And I'm more flexible, or at least I think I'm less stiff.
A.S
------>I wanted to thank you for sharing these moments in your Friday evening classes. I've discovered this discipline that I didn't know about but had heard about and widely acclaimed in a world where we're always running. Thank you for your patience and all the plenitude you radiate and pass on to us. I wish you happy vacations.
